The most efficiently use of resources in a company, is called enterprise resource planning. Generally software solutions are used to control and evaluate the economical operational sequence.
 
The world-wide most successful manufacturer of ERP – systems is SAP. SAP R/3 essentially enables the data proceccing of the following business units:
